At A Place for Us @ Our Farm - La Conquista, we are passionate about creating a space where meaningful transformational experiences can happen. Our programs offer an opportunity for people to experience renewed hope and invest in themselves, creating a ripple effect of change in their communities. We offer a range of services, including camps, workshops, and retreats, all designed to promote community development and spiritual growth. We strive to inspire an entrepreneurial spirit and promote a healthy lifestyle while providing a safe space to facilitate emotional and spiritual healing. With our focus on. entrepreneurship, gardening, mini-farming, healthy lifestyles, and a positive mindset, we believe that everyone can achieve great things with the right support and resources. The Beginning
A Place for Us has always been committed to meeting the needs of hurting people by improving the standard of living through community based education and training programs. Our Central American mission began in 2015 as a business incubation and training center in Casares, Nicaragua, and has since evolved into Our Farm in La Conquista. In the beginning, our projects aimed to empower individuals by offering practical skill-based training in music classes, English courses, and cosmetology.

Our Progression
A Place for Us offers a remarkable space for personal and professional growth. Our dedication to empowering women and fostering small businesses is reflected in the beauty school we established in 2016 and 2017. By teaching women cosmetology skills, we have helped them to realize their aspirations. We are proud to have made a positive impact in our community and welcome you to join us in creating a better future.
OUR FARM
In 2016, the Davis family generously donated 14 acres and the Papa's house to A Place for Us Ministries, a non-profit organization expanding its outreach. Currently, we are making plans to create an organic farm school that will help families economically and provide food for the children in the community. At A Place for Us @ Our Farm, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us.
Future Plan
We are excited to announce that we are in the planning and fundraising stage of this new project. We are working to build a new pavilion to be used for classrooms, a market and as a community center, as well as to purchase the farm supplies and tools needed to begin the farmer training academy. This project will help us to better serve our community and provide a space for education and growth. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!
